HERITAGE EDUCATION (HED)

Introducing heritage conservation awareness and understanding for students, 2007-2009.
A partnership program of BPPI and The Netherlands Institute for Heritage/Erfgoed Nederland (EN).
Purposes of the program :
1. To promote and develop heritage education in Indonesia starting with the primary school, using the past experience in the Netherlands and Indonesia.
2. To develop a “toolkit for heritage education” in Indonesia which will serve as a pilot project that might be used by EN in international projects in the future.
3. To stimulate further exchange of ideas and experiences in the field of cultural heritage between the BPPI and partners.

BPPI-EN signed MOU on "Heritage Educations" and held Press Conference at The Royal Netherlands Embassy- Jakarta on 5/5/2008
