Heritage inventory.

Indonesia, the archipelago country with its 17,000 islands and more than 500 ethnic groups has a rich and diverse culture. There is no complete inventory of the heritage outside of those which have been formally registered. BPPI plans to make an inventory covering the tangible cultural heritage (temples, palaces, traditional settlements, historic areas, artifacts etc), intangible heritage (dance, music, crafts, tradition, etc) and the natural heritage (forest reserve, scenic view, coral reefs, etc). Indonesia is a vast area of 33 provinces with thousands of cultural and natural heritage. In the first phase the inventory will start with Sumatra with its 10 provinces covering 33 cities and 103 regencies.
